Tawazon AI (توازن) is a healthy lifestyle app that provides AI-powered meal analysis, fasting tracking, and weight monitoring. By using the app, you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Data you enter:

• Name, age, gender, height, weight, target weight
• Physical activity level and selected diet plan
• Daily meal logs and fasting sessions
• Weight history and water intake records

Technical data:

• Food photos you upload for analysis (sent to our server temporarily, not stored)
• Aggregate usage counts per feature (to enforce free plan limits)
• Auto-generated anonymous user ID (not linked to your personal identity)

2. How We Use Your Data

• Meal Analysis: Food photos are sent to OpenAI GPT-4 Vision for nutritional analysis and returned to you immediately without being stored by us.
• AI Coach: Your coach messages are sent to OpenAI GPT-4 for general wellness recommendations.
• Subscriptions: Purchase data is handled by RevenueCat and Google Play — we never see your payment details directly.
• Usage Limits: We count feature usage to enforce free plan limits only.

3. Third-Party Data Sharing

We share your data only with:

• OpenAI: For meal analysis and AI coach processing (subject to OpenAI's privacy policy).
• RevenueCat: For subscription and in-app purchase management.
• Google Play / Apple App Store: For payment processing.

4. Artificial Intelligence Disclosure

Tawazon uses AI (GPT-4) in two features:

• Meal Analysis: Analyzes food photos and estimates nutritional values automatically. Results are approximate, not 100% accurate.
• AI Coach: Provides general lifestyle improvement recommendations only. This does not constitute medical advice or diagnosis.

5. Data Storage and Security

• Personal data: Stored locally on your device only (AsyncStorage) and never uploaded to our servers.
• Food photos: Transmitted for analysis over encrypted HTTPS and not retained after processing.
• Usage statistics: Stored in our secure database under an anonymous identifier.
• All server communications use HTTPS encryption.

6. App Permissions

• Camera: To capture food photos for analysis.
• Photo Library: To access saved photos for analysis.
• Internet: To communicate with our server and provide AI features.

You can revoke any permission from your device settings at any time.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

• All payments are processed exclusively through Google Play or Apple App Store.
• We never see or store your credit card information.
• You can cancel your subscription at any time through the store settings.
• Refunds are subject to Google Play / Apple refund policies.

8. Your Rights

• Access: Your personal data is stored locally on your device and accessible directly in the app.
• Deletion: You can delete all your data by uninstalling the app or using "Log Out."
• Correction: You can update your data at any time from the Profile screen.

9. Data Retention

• Personal data (profile, meals, weight): Stored locally on your device only. We do not retain this data on our servers. It remains until you delete the app or clear its data manually.
• Food photos: Sent for analysis only and immediately deleted upon completion — never stored.
• Usage statistics (feature usage counts): Retained in our database while your account is active, and deleted upon a data deletion request.

10. Data Deletion Requests

You can delete your data in one of two ways:

• Immediate in-app deletion: Go to the Profile screen → tap "Log Out" to clear all local data. Or uninstall the app from your device to permanently delete everything.
• Request deletion of server-side usage statistics: Send an email to Tawazonaisales@gmail.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request". We will complete your request within 30 days.

11. Children's Privacy

The app is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we learn that a child's data has been collected, we will delete it immediately.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. For material changes, we will notify you within the app. Continued use of the app after any update constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
